An advertisement pops up on your phone or social media feed promising a "great deal" on a luxury vacation, until you get there and realize the resort looked nothing like the pictures, or didn't read the fine print that the food was included, but drinks were not, or that you would have to waste a day of your precious vacation in a high pressure sales pitch to get the deal - at the end of which you're exhausted, have a migraine, and aren't having any fun.
I too have booked the "great deal" and have been left standing in the hotel lobby in a foreign country with the front desk saying they "could not find my reservation," experienced all inclusive resorts with inedible food, a hotel room with an "ocean view" of concrete from the building next door, and an advertised water park that was only available to guests staying more than 2 nights
(that wasn't in the brochure)!
